The battle of the year (Boty) presented its program this Thursday, in collaboration with young festival. Discover the programming of these Montpelier party. the seat of the mutual bikerspartner of the two events, hosted the press conference in its new coworking space on the boulevard du Jeu de Paume, in Montpellier.

Two different entities, but a common culture

After two years of absence, the Boty and the Yung Fest return and join forces to promote the french Hip Hop Culture, but it also brought local artists to the forefront. If each of the festivals intends to maintain its identity, various events will be organized in collaboration during a week rich in themes. On the Boty France program, a comeback with a week of concerts, shows and breakdance battles with the grand finale of the Battle Of The Year France, on Sunday May 15 at the south zenith from Montpelier. At stake is a qualification for the world battle in Japan in December 2022 for metropolitan and foreign crews. on sunday may 8 ratings will be organized in the Petit Bard district, to determine who will represent the region during the competition.

YUNG FEST reconnects the microphones

The Yung Fest festival will present on May 13 and 14 different actors from the current rap scene of various different styles (trap, drill, boom-bap…). The highlight of the festival will undoubtedly be a concert at the Zénith that promises to be memorable, spectators will be able to circulate between the pit and the stands to attend the performance of the 7 artists for more than 6 hours of live (from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.).

Other surprises are also expected, such as the free concert Thursday May 12 Place du Marché aux Fleurs, where the local rapper will perform Kodama and the swiss say meh presenting with Radio Pinata. The arrival of the journalist mehdi maizi as a DJ for a mouse party also worth noting.
