For the eighth edition, the Rugl’Art 2022 festival, the flagship event in Rugles (Eure)discover the 3 rivers that cross our territory: the Risle, the Avre and the Iton.
The watercourses, the arteries of our territory
The rivers are the arteries of our territory: it is around the rivers that men have settled. For the launch of this new edition, the CAR (Ruglois Activities Committee)organizer of the event, offers a photo contest in the territory of INSE (Interco Sud Normandie Eure).
The theme: The 3 Rivers (Risle, Avre, Iton). We offer photographers the opportunity to illustrate the relationship between man and the river or landscapes shaped by water.
If there are people, the photographs with their consent of course… In short, your photographic interpretation of our rivers.
He then posts his images (two per day maximum) on the Rugl’ArT Festival Facebook page or sends them to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org. with the location and your contact details (age for children).
Please note that any photos that are not completed will not be kept.
The organizers invite you to like the photos that pass by and that you like, a selection of the best photos will be displayed on the walls of the city of Rugles, all summer, for the duration of the festival.
Closing date: May 31, 2022. As of this date, the jury will meet to decide and award the following prizes: Internet user prize; Jury Prize; Jury Special Mention.
The desire to create a project with and for the inhabitants
As a reminder, the Rugl’Art festival was born in Rugles (Eure) in 2014 the desire to create a project, with and for the inhabitants, to animate the territory and enhance its heritage. Created in 2000, the CAR is the driver, helped by many volunteers.
The members of the CAR were able to observe the expectations of the inhabitants to meet, exchange and share around the search for participatory artistic actions.
Rugles, located in the south of the department of Eure, is a rural town of 2,329 inhabitants with an industrial activity focused on metallurgy for centuries.
Located in the heart of Normandy, south of Eure, Rugles wants to give an image of a dynamic city in a rural setting and make the voice of a living rurality heard, which is part of a solidarity and solidarity movement.
