A 25 year old that promises to be busy in the Laurentians! Film Laurentides has partnered with CIME, Laurentian radio!
As part of the activities around its 25th anniversary, Film Laurentides partnered with CIME, the Laurentians radio station. An advertising campaign, accompanied by a comprehensive weekly contest, highlights the work done by Film Laurentides since its inception in 1997. In this way, listeners can test their knowledge, discover or rediscover the films, television series, commercials and videos musicals filmed in your region. and measure the scope of the economic, tourist and cultural benefits. By sparking curiosity and raising awareness among citizens, businesses, merchants, municipalities and community partners, Film Laurentides wishes to create a sense of pride and belonging associated with the film and television industry in the region.
As for filming, Film Laurentides had a busy start to the year. Started on March 1 in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, filming for Remembering Christmas wrapped on March 16. Summoned by the producers, the media were able to attend the last scenes shot on a stage created to fool Switzerland and its typical Christmas markets.
Also stationed in the north for a fortnight, the crew of the feature film Chien et Chat, a co-production between France (Mandarin) and Quebec (Transfilm), had to brave the cold and snow. Writer-director Reem Kherici, who is also playing a role, humorously testified on her Instagram account, as did comedian and actor Franck Dubosc, who is part of the cast.
Cine Laurentides also accompanied director Charles-Olivier Michaud’s team for the feature film Ru (Amalga Productions), which was at Oka in early March. The Diver (Go Films) by Francis Leclerc, the next short film by Isabelle Depelteau and an advertisement for McDonald’s are added to the list of shootings already completed since the beginning of the year.
