We have been waiting for this moment for a long time and we are finally here! What a joy to be able to plan cultural outings, right? Finally humour, song, history, theater, a matter of feeding our souls, and face to face please!

For the occasion, here are three addresses to put on your calendar for great family outings!

Marguerite Bourgeoys Museum

An entertaining investigation game, free for children under 12 years of age.

The Marguerite-Bourgeoys Historic Site is looking for budding sleuths! Going back in time with Dr. Lafumée, detectives young and old will be called in to uncover clues on the site that will become important pieces of evidence. Thus, they will be able to determine what could have been the cause of the fire that destroyed the chapel of Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours in 1754, as well as several neighboring houses in the district.

Equipped with an observation notebook and games to collect multiple clues, visitors will be transported back to the time of the first Montrealers. This investigation addresses the subject of fire, its usefulness and its possible curses, from the time of New France to the present. A guided visit to the archaeological site allows even to observe the traces of the fire in the first chapel.

A fun investigation awaits you! Free for children under 12 years.

This activity is presented thanks to the Convention on the cultural development of Montreal in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Communications.
