“Chinese ink technique”, by Tina Rose Bastien

Chinese art affects all the arts in Chinese culture and encourages our creativity to produce works based on Chinese ink. The oriental conception of art has been used in China for millennia until today, in its broadest sense, to approach natural forms using ink and watercolor on rice paper. During the workshop, students will be able to do some tests on rice paper before creating their final work. By offering this age-old technique, students will be invited to let their imagination run wild to create a painting.

The course is aimed at all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced). Access is free and equipment is provided (maximum 10 people). Registration is required with Caroline Fortin at 819 621-1333, extension 1287, or by email at
