With almost 2,000 attendeesthis 29me edition of the music festival was successfully crowned in Saint-Manvieu-Bocage (Calvados). A great satisfaction for the forty volunteers of Bocage Loisirs, the organizer, after two difficult years and health constraints do not favor large gatherings.

Tonight we had a few discreet hiccups and had to dust off a few habits, but the evening went perfectly and everyone had a great time throughout the evening in a relaxed, friendly and joyful festive atmosphere,” reported Gilles Beaugeard. , president of the association.

1,000 sausages and 800 kg of French fries

The few thousand sausages, 800 kg of French fries and hundreds of pancakes sold (not counting food trays) testify to the return of music lovers to the Mévennes territory for this event that a constantly renewed musical program for all audiences has made unmissable over the years . » I would like to thank the Municipality of Noues-de-Sienne for their support; Pascal Banning and the volunteers for their energetic participation; merchants, artists and the general public for their enthusiasm. All contributed to the success of this 29th edition. Even the weather was on point and kept people hanging out late into the night.”

Environmental impact

Anxious to limit the environmental impact of the festival, a fairly successful waste sorting was implemented. The association also plans to reduce CO2 emissions at night by eliminating the Saint-Jean fire that until then closed the night with the burning of wood waste. A most encouraging evening for the next edition, and the thirtieth anniversary of the Mévéenne festival, which the members of Bocage Loisirs are already studying.

Next meeting Bocage Loisirs; The great mölkky tournament, second weekend of September.
